Ways to Help!

Have you ever thought about being a mentor?  Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is something you can do.  The only requirements are a willingness to make a new friend and a desire to share some fun with a young person.  There are over twenty youth in Great Falls waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister right now.  Take a few moments to learn about some of the unmatched youth, and we bet you find the child who would fit into your life-- just right!

Rose considers herself an active teenager and would love to be a figure skater.  She would like a friend to confide in.  A young woman interested in playing basketball, skating, and occasionally shopping at the mall would be just perfect.

Mykle enjoys being outside, playing with his friends, game cub, riding his bike, playing strategic games, darts, sports, or “anything” because he is “easily entertained.”  He is excited to have a Big Brother and avoid “girly stuff.”

Harlin is a 13 year old boy in the 8th grade.  He enjoys skateboarding, being outsides, listening to music and talking on the phone.  Harlin would like a Big to know that he is pretty easy going and he is kind of shy around new people.

Michael is 11 years old and will be in 6th grade this next year.  His mom describes him as outgoing.  Michael likes swimming, fishing, and biking.  He feels it would be nice to have someone to hang out with that will enjoy being with him.

Aaron would like a potential Big Brother to know that he is funny, active, and outgoing.  Grandma says he can also be shy at times.  Aaron is just finishing up the 6th grade.  He has a friend who has a Big Brother and thinks he’s pretty cool.  Aaron hopes his own Big Brother will go places with him and share fun activities like video games and basketball.

Daelen is a 7-year-old boy who enjoys skateboarding, reading, listening to music, bowling, swimming, sports, bike riding, and building things.  He would like to be matched with a “cool dude who likes to play.”  Daelen loves being outside.

Sean is finishing 6th grade and will be heading to junior high next fall.  His mom describes him as energetic and honest.  Others describe him as extremely outing, respectful, and fun.  Sean says he enjoys outdoor activities, playing Wii, and multi-player internet games.

Creeana is 10 years old, talkative, and loves animals and art.  She wants a Big Sister who will do things with her as she likes to learn new things.  Creeana would like her Big Sister to “be funny like me.”

Taylor will be 14 soon.  She likes art, going to the mall, and video games.  She would like a Big Sister who is fun, active, and “open to anything.”  Maybe horse back riding?
